About Me

As a behaviorist, I have had the opportunity to closely collaborate with parents, teachers, school leaders, first responders, and individuals across various age ranges who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, addictions, abandonment, traumatic experiences, depression, suicidal ideation, terminal illness, and other behavioral & mental challenges in the US and abroad.

Through these experiences, I have developed strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, which are crucial in effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders in management situations.

My educational background includes a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, a Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy, and I have recently been accepted to begin working on a doctorate in child behavior psychology. These credentials have provided me with a solid foundation in understanding the needs of individuals and developing effective strategies to support them. Additionally, my time as a Student Support and Lead Electives Teacher at the American School of Kuwait gave me valuable international experience, where I supervised staff, addressed student behavior, and assisted in developing behavior support plans. I was also chosen to present at NESA (Near East South Asia) 2020 conference on student & teacher behavior strategies.

During the challenging circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, I spent a year in a quarantined area in Kuwait, utilizing de-escalation strategies for children and adults struggling with the mental and emotional impact of the global crisis. These experiences have honed my abilities in crisis management, data analysis, and implementing positive behavior support techniques.

In my role as an Intensive Interventionist at Cobb County School District's HAVEN Academy, I further refined my skills in supporting and advancing the educational experience for all students. I have extensive experience in delivering individualized instruction, collecting, presenting, and analyzing data on the PBIS team, and training faculty and staff on de-escalation techniques. Moreover, my certifications in MINDSET, LSCI, Mental Health Coach, RBT, CBT, CPR & First Aid and others reflect my commitment to staying current with best practices in crisis intervention and safety protocols.

I am dedicated to supporting children and young adults while promoting positive behavior in homes, schools, and life. My skills and experiences have shaped me to be a skilled instructor and consultant in this area, and I am eager to contribute to the mission of providing support to your school, families, and communities
